A very touching story unfolds today. kidnapped child finds family 23 years later, she wasn't a child when the girl named Joy White but rather an infant, a 19-day old baby to be exact.
According to news, the infant kidnapped 24 years ago from a city hospital with fever. The reunion with her family makes the NYPD's most perplexing cold cases resolved.
Carlina White last seen by her biological parents as a feverish 3-week-old infant re-unite with her mother, father and relatives over the weekend.
“We ate and talked and got to know each other … I feel great,” said her mother, Joy White, who also met her granddaughter for the first time.
“I can sleep! I can definitely sleep now because this has been on my mind for so many years.”
