Brooke Shields whom I rarely heard any updates of was actually busy and enjoying her role in Broadway's "The Addams Family". According to CBS's report, Shields decided to extend her stay to the said Broadway until the end of this year.
Shields joined the as Morticia Addams June of this year and planned to exit on October 30.
"I am having the time of my life playing Morticia with this wonderful company of actors. Morticia is such a delicious role and 'The Addams Family' is such a fantastic and iconic piece of entertainment that I just couldn't resist the invitation to extend," Shields said, according to Playbill.
"We are thrilled Brooke has agreed to continue in 'The Addams Family' for two additional months," added lead producers Stuart Oken and Roy Furman. "She is a wonderful Morticia and has proven to be a great boost for the show in all respects."
Shields will now exit the role on Dec. 31, Playbill reports.
The actress' other Broadway credits include playing Ruth in "Wonderful Town," Roxie Hart in "Chicago" and Sally Bowles in "Cabaret."
